Recommended Therapists
Below are therapists I recommend who are experienced working with anxiety disorders and work in a similar way to me. They are qualified, trusted and knowledgeable.
Rhiannon Wilcox
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which is an evidence based therapy recommended by the National Institute of Care Excellence for the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. CBT can be described as practical therapy where you can take control of the changes you wish to make, I find this approach to be particularly helpful for those who feel there is little hope in feeling different. I will work collaboratively with you to agree therapy goals and work towards them at a pace comfortable for you.
I am dedicated to continue to learn and grow as a therapist in the best interests of any individual I work with. I know that learning benefits my own mental well-being and I prioritise this as a way of looking after myself too. I regularly develop my professional knowledge to adhere to the standards of the BABCP and out of personal interest and commitment. ERP (exposure, response, prevention) and MCT (Meta-Cognitive Therapy) are particular interests of mine and guide my therapeutic approach.

Charlotte Shaw
Hi I'm Charlotte. I'm a BABCP accredited CBT therapist, with over 15 years experience of working in NHS therapy services.
The people I've worked with tell me I'm warm, personable and feel I've worked side by side with them in their therapy.
I'm passionate about CBT because the people I've worked with have described it as life-changing. They've said it's helped them to understand their difficulties and ultimately overcome them.
Please see my website for information. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation for you to get a feel for if you'd like to work with me and I can answer any questions.
Maritxu Arlegui-Prieto
I'm Maritxu (pronounced Mah-ree-choo).

As a pluralistic therapist, I tailor my approach to support you on your individual needs rather than subscribing to a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
